Little Nolan {sneak peek}

This is my second time meeting with the Nielsen family, and I have truly enjoyed every moment!  Nolan is now 8 months old, and was a happy camper for the most part, or at least until his parents tried to get a nice family picture with him!   We got so many cute shots of Nolan’s many expressions when he did decide to cooperate!  One of my favorite part of family sessions is watching families interact, and this couple is absolutely in love with their little boy!  I’m really looking forward to playing again at his 1 year session!  Thanks Nielsen family!

It’s not too late!

Um, oh my gosh, does everyone realize it is December 2???  Christmas is only 23 days away!  Where did this year go?  This year has been a huge blessing in my life, and I am so excited that you all have given me the opportunity to pursue my passion!  I have had so much fun getting to know you and your families this year, and my life feels so much more complete!  As I’m sure many of you have heard me say, this “job” doesn’t feel like a job at all, just something that I get to do, and something that I LOVE doing!  I have had several appointments the past few days creating Christmas cards, and I absolutely love creating one-of-a kind cards for families that truly express who they are!  It is so neat to see the finished product…  thank you Sarah Gourdie and Jamie Schultz for your awesome templates to get me started!  I have about a week before orders need to be placed to arrive by Christmas, so if you are needing to get any last minute holiday cards or gift ideas, photo books/albums or collages, be sure to contact me!

As the end of 2009 wraps up, I am looking forward to what 2010 will hold!  I have just a few more openings in December, but will be accepting session appointments for next year starting January 6!  Prices will be going up (just a tad):) starting January 1, so be sure to book prior to December 31 to lock in this years pricing for your session in 2010.  Thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart – lets make 2010 awesome!

Nichols family {sneak peek}

What a blast!  I had so much fun with this family… this gave me a nice glimpse into my future with my kids!  Taylor and his sister seemed to like each other at least a little bit, and didn’t complain too much when having to take pictures close together! :)  They were both going to a dance that evening, so they gave each other a lot of guff about their respective “dates.”  So funny!  Thanks for the opportunity to photograph your family!

Hot Ta”Molly” {sneak peek}

Oh, where to even begin… Molly is my best friend’s newest addition, and it was a blessing to be able to photograph her.  Newborn sessions are my favorite, and this one was no exception!  Molly was actually awake for nearly all of her session, which is pretty uncommon!  We did get a few angry moments though, mostly associated with the hats.  I have had the pleasure of watching Heather’s other three girls grow, and it is amazing how much Molly looks like her sisters!  She definitely has her mother’s toes, and she has the “old man hair” that one older sister did as well.  Oh, what to say about the monkey toes…:)  Love you guys, and thanks for letting me be a part of your lives!

Miller family & cake session {sneak peek}

Well, I am finally on vacation as of NOW!  I am headed to Disney World tomorrow morning with my husband’s family, and I am SO. EXCITED.  In the past, Noah has been VERY afraid of Santa/Easter Bunny/anything in costume, so I am very curious to see how he reacts to the characters at Disney.  He is so excited to go to the airport and see Mickey Mouse!  Kate is oblivious, of course!  Before leaving I wanted to share some images from a recent family/1 yr session… we had cake and everything!  Our birthday girl was a little hesitant to dive into the cake, but soon found a liking for the purple frosting!  There was hardly a mess this time, especially in comparison to James… she was much more dainty!  Hope you enjoy, and I will see you in a couple of days!
